This lighthouse has had numerous preservation concerns since its construction in the 1890’s. Its very isolated at the mouth of the river, the scrub around it was a fast growing invasive vegetation and now the lighthouse is no longer in operation the building is suspect to vandalism. However, a sensational place for astro photography! Please check the tides and weather conditions before venturing to the lighthouse.
